AtypicalReader is founded by local North Londoner, Enfield resident, mother and self-confessed book-worm Anthonia Kehinde who cites her library card as “the best present my parents ever gave me growing up”. It’s very much a family affair with Anthonia’s daughter who inspired the idea behind AtypicalReader to promote a lifelong love of reading, and to transform children's lives by taking 2D stories off our screens or pages and transforming them into immersive, real-world 3D memories instead.

AtypicalReader has teamed up with London Illustrator, Erin Aniker to bring the creative elements and vision of the festival to life, as Creative Director and who will be debuting her first children’s book she is currently illustrating at the AtypicalReader Children’s Book Festival 2027.
